How many guests can each Yurt accommodate?

  • 14′ Yurt – up to 16 guests seated or 20 – 30 guests standing
  • 18′ Yurt – up to 24 guests seated or 35 – 40 guests standing
  • 24′ Yurt – up to 50 guests seated or 70 guests standing
  • 40′ Yurt – up to 140 guests seated or 200 standing

How long is the hire period?

All quotes are based on 3 day hire, however depending upon the Yurt booked the Elite Team will install a few days prior to your event. If you require a longer hire period please contact the Elite Team.

How are combination Yurts connected?

40′, 24′ and 18′ Elite Yurts can be connected to create additional spaces for your event. These are joined together by their doorways and bolted in place.

How long do the Yurts take to be installed?

  • Elite Yurt installation times vary, please see below an indication of the appropriate timings.
  • 14′ Yurt – Approx 90 minuets
  • 18′ Yurt – Approx 90 minuets
  • 24′ Yurt – Approx 2 Hours
  • 40′ yurt – Approx 4 – 5 Hours

(Time dependant upon loadings, additional products hired and weather conditions)

What are your payment terms?

We require a 25% of the final balance for the deposit to secure your booking, and then your final balance is due 4 weeks prior to your event.

What happens if the Yurts are damaged?

A £500 refundable damage deposit is requested at the same time as the final balance invoice, and if there is no significant damage cause the deposit is refunded. Please contact the Elite Team to notify them of any damages, upon inspection of the damage, the fee will be discussed and deducted from the damage deposit or if a further payment is needed.

What is your cancellation policy?

In the event that you cancel, any deposit that you have paid shall be forfeit. In addition, you will be liable to pay the following percentage of the hire charge quoted dependent on the period of notice given prior to date of commencement of the hire. The deposit shall be deducted from the percentage payable.

Do you only cover the Yorkshire area?

We deliver across the Yorkshire area, and all towns and cities nationwide across the UK. All prices include delivery, installation and collection within 1hour of our head office in Wakefield. For locations further afield please contact the Elite Team.

Can Yurts be installed on concrete / hard standing ground?

Elite Yurts are usually installed on grassed areas, however they can be installed on hard standing ground providing there is some way to secure the Yurt in place.

How do I measure an area to see if it is suitable for a Yurt?

The measurements of Elite Yurts are the exact diameter of the structures, you will also need an additional 1 – 3ft circumference, to allow for the lines and pegs to be secured. Please note the area will need to be flat, fairly levelled and well drained.

Do you offer site visits services to check if an area is suitable for a Yurt?

Yes, contact the Elite Team to book an appointment.

Do you supply heating?

Elite Yurts can supply small space heaters or a large Yurt heater depending upon the size booked.

Do you supply power?

We can supply a small generator and fuel, however depending upon the amount of power you may need we can help recommend a supplier. If you are having any lighting, heating or sound systems hired from us these will need power either from a generator or a building.

Do you supply toilets?

We don’t supply toilets however we can recommend suppliers who can help you.

Do you supply catering?

We don’t supply any catering, however depending upon what you are wanting we can recommend suppliers who can help you.

Do you offer venue decor styling?

We don’t supply venue decor or linen hire, however we can recommend suppliers who can help you.

Do you offer a bar hire service?

We can offer a ‘Dry Hire’ service where you hire our rustic bar, fridges and beer dispenser and you supply the drinks. Alternately we also offer a ‘Cash Bar’ service where we serve the drinks. This includes , set up/ removal, selection of draught lagers, ciders, hand pull cask ales, fully stocked fridges with a selection of wines, spirits and soft drinks. Trained bar staff, cash and card payment facility.

Is there a way to secure the Yurts on a night?

All Elite Yurts have lockable doors, the Elite Install team will leave you with the keys.

Do I have to hire the furniture from Elite Event Hire?

You don’t have to hire our furniture, however we can offer bespoke package deals on your Yurt and furniture bookings. We are also competitive on prices, contact the Elite Team today for a quotation.

Do you offer a (wedding) running of the day service?

Yes we can offer a general management/ wedding coordination service please contact the Elite Team for more details.
